That is not me. That's Tom Hanks in 'BIG', the movie where he becomes a child again.

I have learned a lot of things throughout my short life - I am only 30. I am extremely lucky to have loving parents who push me to succeed, lucky to have have had the chance to attend excellent schools and lucky for being consistently surrounded by smart, ambitious people.

However, now, still early in my career, planning and envisioning where I go from here, I find myself wishing I had learned a lot of other skills which will cost me a lot of effort, sweat and most of all - TIME- to gain now.

If I were a child again, what would I do differently?
What would I strive to learn in the first 30 years of my life?

In this webpage I share a lot of the thoughts I have about practical skills I would like to improve today.

I refer to skills I feel would help me do better socially, romantically and in business. I try to explain why I think having these skills would help me and reflect on how I am trying to improve them now.

I value your feedback very much and I would really like to know what you think:

- Are the skills I talk about really important?

- Do you have your own thoughts to share?

- Do you have recommendations on how to develop these and other skills?

- Should educators, parents or teachers, focus on these skills?

Things I Wish I had learned when I was younger
